EagleSight Dynamics (ESD) was founded in March 2025 with bases in Shanghai and Shenzhen. A global pioneer of embodied intelligent flapping-wing robots, it was established by Shanghai Jiao Tong University mechanical engineering PhD Chen Hao. Over 75% of our staff are R&D specialists recruited from top academia, DJI, Huawei and ByteDance, with cross-disciplinary expertise in fluid dynamics, global commercialization and internet operations. Guided by the value “Action Creates the Future”, we industrialize fluid intelligence technology.
Our vision is to be the world’s top fluid dynamics enterprise that empowers robots to master fluid flows; our mission is to create natural, high-value bionic aircraft for daily human use. We hold two core competitive advantages: our multi-degree-of-freedom flapping-wing robots deliver stable, near-silent, wildlife-friendly flight in complex urban turbulence via flap-glide hybrid flight; and Vortrix, the world’s first flapping-wing-specific fluid-control integrated simulation engine, generates custom AI flight controllers far beyond general tools.
We follow a staged product roadmap. Our flagship consumer ornithopter ESD Eagle X targets RC hobbyists, STEM education and research markets first, while future advanced models will expand into more industrial sectors. Our transferable flapping drive and control tech enables flexible product iteration for all payload and wingspan requirements.
Backed by seed funding from MiraclePlus (YC China), a multi-million-yuan angel round and tens-of-millions Pre-A round led by Oriza Seed, we operate dedicated fluid dynamics labs across Shanghai and Shenzhen. ESD Eagle X Bionic Ornithopter is set for global launch in September 2026, with European markets as our primary rollout target.
